While I’m not someone to readily support consumption of products, I do believe that it is important to support causes and brands that work toward the change we want to see in the world. Without further ado, here’s five of my favourite (Canadian) eco-living products, eh!
My Favourite Eco-Living Products (Made in Canada!)
I am head over heels in love with this company! Based in Montreal, they are making more sustainable products with earth-friendly ingredients. And I know the term “earth-friendly” is unregulated, but they are certified by EWG, Ecologo and PETA for their ingredients.
We use plenty of ATTITUDE eco-living products on a daily basis. Including their dishwasher tablets, refillable dish soap, laundry detergent and their 2-in-1 shampoo and body wash for my daughter.
You can easily order directly from their website or from Well.ca!
I’ve loved this low-waste brand for a long time! They’re packaged in glass jars with metal lids. And while glass isn’t the best packaging to be recycled (it costs a lot to transport!) If they don’t make it to a recycling facility, at least it’s eventually going to break down into natural materials again. A better alternative to plastic tubes.
My personal favourite from Nelson Naturals is their Cinnamon Spice toothpaste. Also available on Well.ca!
Keeping with the oral theme.
Having officially launched in December of 2019, Oath Essentials is still a young company. They sell bamboo toothbrushes and other sustainable options, but my personal favourite is their natural silk dental floss. It comes in a sleek, refillable metal container! And shipped using only recycled packaging.
Currently you can only purchase direct from Oath Essentials.
Ten & Co.
My first introduction to swedish sponge cloths were through this indie brand based out of Toronto, ON. They have a variety of chic designs which are sure to brighten up your kitchen and boost your mood while doing such a mundane task! They also sell tea towels and just recently began the sale of beeswax wraps.
You can either purchase direct or from Well.ca.
If you’re looking to purchase more sustainable personal care products, look no further! Unwrapped Life has a wide variety of shampoo and conditioner for every hair type. I’ve loved every shampoo I’ve tried from them. If you have thick, unruly hair I recommend using their conditioner as a leave-in treatment.
Unwrapped Life products are available direct and a wide variety of their products are now selling at Well.ca.
What is your favourite Canadian brand? And what eco-living products do you use on a regular basis?
